Pumpkin seeds — also called pepitas — are the edible inner seed removed from the outer white shell of the pumpkin. Our seeds are already hulled, meaning the white outer husk has been removed to reveal the flat, oval, dark green kernel inside. This ready-to-eat kernel has a mild, pleasantly earthy and slightly sweet flavour that becomes more pronounced when lightly toasted.
